Working With the Looking Glass Studio

Initially, we would discuss what ideas and themes you have for your commission. If you are in an ideas cul-de-sac, our design consultancy is happy to help you through this process. If it is a repair, replacement project, we will survey the panels and give you our advice. We will send through a quote and if this is accepted, we would send you a number of designs for you to choose from.

We would at this point require 50% deposit.

The final 50% payment is required upon installation.

We really like working closely with our clients and hope that our passion for what we do rubs off on the people we work with. With this in mind we encourage our clients to get involved. We are happy to send you updates via email at all the different phases and you are more than welcome to come in to the studio and see for yourself what is happening.

New Commissions

This is a wonderful process from start to finish. Initially our design team are able to put together ideas and designs that the client ultimately signs off on. The designs are then converted to cartoons which can then be worked from.

Restorations

If you are lucky enough to already have a piece in your home that needs some attention, we are able to restore it to its former glory. We would repair the panel using traditional techniques retaining as much of the original glass as possible. We have a fitting team on-site who would both be able to fit temporary glazing while the panel is restored and also fit the completed work.
